Sensory Description

Every day on my walk to the WMS building I walk in a groggy haze. 9 o'clock in the morning is way to early for me. One detail that I notice every morning are the construction workers hard at work. When you walk by them you can hear the sound of their hammers banging the bricks into place, see the sweat dripping off their hardworking arms with every swing of their tools. They have hard, labor intensive jobs but sometimes they will be singing a happy tune or chatting among one another. The redness of the bricks pops out at me like the sun rising on the east coast. My world is filled with color the moment I step out of my dorm and see these men hard at work. It brings a start to my day and gets me ready for whatever else I am to encounter.
